The wedding of Sam Mullins and Steven Sola at the stunningly gorgeous Villa Loriana in San Luis Obispo, California was one to remember. Sam & Steve wanted wedding videography for their wedding so that they could reminisce on their special day for a lifetime. During our initial meeting, they told me that “Everyone says the day will fly. We would like to be able to watch our video and relive the best day of our lives for years to come.”

Something Fun About the Couple

Sam & Steven are so grateful to live in paradise here on the beautiful Central Coast of California. They often sit on their rooftop, stare out at the ocean petting their dog, Luna, and just being thankful. Both Sam & Steven are very close to their families, and now each other's families. They’re blessed to have two sets of AMAZING parents who they absolutely adore. They love their siblings, nephews, and nieces. Sam & Steven mentioned countless times that they just feel constantly blessed and are so happy to begin this new chapter.

The Proposal

Sam told us personally that proposal was perfect. It happened on May 25, 2021 when they were celebrating her birthday. They were enjoying charcuterie and a nice bottle of wine on their roof, gazing out towards the Pacific Ocean. Sam didn't suspect a thing; when Steve dropped to his knee and popped the question. She threw her arms around him and sobbed "YES" before he even had a chance to pull out the ring. They both went on about how the proposal was super intimate and special, it was exactly how they’d dreamt it.

The Experience

Sam & Steven wanted their guests to have the BEST time and enjoy the party. They really wanted their guests to enjoy their meals, the live music, dancing, and spending time with friends who came from all over the country (even some coming from out of the country!) Point being: They wanted their guests to have FUN!

Fun Fact

Sam's Mother and Steven's Father graduated high school together. Steven's Father was FFA president and Sam’s Mother was ASB president. Also, their Dads are both farmers in the same small community. Needless to say, their folks have MANY mutual friends and connections. So, the dynamics of the wedding were SUPER fun with nearly everyone being friends/acquaintances.
